Natural Disasters:
We've all experienced at least one in our lifetime!
Natural disasters occur all over the world and are the effects of natural (not man-made) hazards that affect our environment, political and economic climate, and worst off...the loss of human lives. They range from earthquakes, typhoons, hurricanes, wildfires, and so on.
The severity factors are specific to the type of event, but many share common grounds such loss of lives, environmental, and economical impact of recovery.
We've all experienced at least one in our lifetime. If you haven't...then just wait, you'll be exposed to at least one in your lifetime.
I have personally experienced numerous catastrophic events, of which, the worst was a super-typhoon that demolished Guam (an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean). The winds exceeded 150 miles per hour and gusts were well over 200 miles per hour. I have also been through many major earthquakes of greater than 5.0 on the Richter scale, been snowed in for 5 days during a wild blizzard, and been through wildfires that were within blocks of my residence.

The key item for survival is PREPAREDNESS. On most occasions, you know when one will occur. When the indications of an impending event is imminent, don't wait until the last minute. Always be prepared...and you can do this with minimal effort.
