End Of Days The Movie (1999)The movie End of Days was released late in 1999 by Universal Pictures. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Byrne and Robin Tunney. It was directed by Peter Hyams.
This is one of my favorite Arnold movies...of course since it mixes both biblical apocalypse with action. I remember it was released in November of 1999, just before the turn of the new millennium. At the time there was a lot of buzz about the Y2K bug and all the other predictions of the coming end of the world. This movie hit right at the moment of the highest levels of fan fare for the anticipated new millennium. Enjoy the Trailer!

Plot: As the end of the second millennium draws near Satan has an opportunity to escape his prison and come to earth. He must mate with the chosen woman in the final hours and the offspring will usher in his reign for the new times. Unwitting participant Jerico Cane, a down and out ex-cop, struggles as he is wrapped tighter and tighter into the ensuing struggles.
