Are the signs of the apocalypse clear enough yet?
End of days are upon us. The signs of the apocalypse are everywhere!
The world is coming to an end! Or, is it? We have all been intrigued with the end of the world scenarios. What caused the
dinosaurs to be extinct and when will the next one happen? That's
right it's not a question of "if", but "WHEN?"
Are you prepared? We are not saying that the world will come to an
end in the next couple of years, but what we are saying is that
there are numerous possibilities of world destruction, and an
asteroid collision is just one of the ways. Stay informed and you
decide your own conclusions.
My buddy Curt and I started this website to put into discussion the possible apocalypse scenarios that have existed throughout time. We are both career military Officers with over 20 years of service each. We are, in no way, experts in end of day scenarios
but we are highly educated and have significant backgrounds in preparation and survival. We've studied and read numerous references on end of the world scenarios and would like share them with you, so that you are well informed. Regardless of your beliefs and thoughts, there will come a day when we will face an end of the world scenario and the world will be subjected to chaos...and we ask you the question...are you prepared in the event that a major catastrophe occurs?
Hi, my name is Jason and I've been intrigued with the apocalypse and
end of the world scenarios long before seeing the movie trailer for
"2012" in the theaters.
It started back around six months before the turn of the millennium. Yes, that's right! Remember that catchy word "Y2K" or maybe the "millenium bug?" The year 2000 to many would just be another day, but for many others, it was a day where all computers were going to shut down, planes were going to fall from the sky, and all forms of communications electronics were going to cease to operate. It was going to be a complete catastrophe and chaos.
For me, well, I was somewhere in between. Although skeptical of the
scenario, I still prepared for what would turn out to be a non-event. No, I didn't build a bomb shelter or a panic room, but I did
prepare for a possible ATM crash, so I pulled out a few hundred
dollars cash in the event that the computers were not Y2K compliant. I also went as far as stocking up food (non-perishable food like
granola bars and lots of water) for at least 10 days for a family of
5. Better safe than sorry, and it didn't even take any effort. If
the world was coming to an end, such as an apocalypse scenario, then I'd have a lot more to worry about than just food.
No matter what, we were going to ring in the new year with style and
When midnight struck for the year 2000, and planes didn't fall out
of the sky and the computer still worked...we continued to celebrate
by lighting off fireworks and partying until about 3 AM.
For this occasion, it was better safe than sorry. There are other
scenarios, such as natural disasters, where it is always helpful to
be prepared. Keep checking with us periodically as we update our
pages with useful information.
Cheers and Be Good!
Jason and Curt
